The Ask
Deadbeats sought to deepen fan engagement and drive participation around contests and Deadbeats Rewind, a community-centered digital watch experience built for the global fanbase of Zeds Dead in anticipation for their annual Deadrocks event. The objective was to create high-impact social media content and interactive activations that would energize the community, increase live participation, and convert passive followers into active members within the Deadbeats ecosystem.
The strategy required platform-native creative that felt authentic to the culture - visually bold, community-first, and optimized for rapid sharing across Instagram and Discord.

The Role
I led the design and rollout of social media assets supporting Deadbeats Rewind, developing teaser graphics, countdown visuals, engagement-driven posts, and shareable story content designed to increase visibility and drive real-time participation.
Beyond static content, I created community activation touchpoints - including story-share mechanics, invite-driven graphics, and recap visuals highlighting attendance and engagement metrics. I monitored performance signals in real time and adjusted creative direction to amplify reach, boost interaction, and encourage fan-generated content.
The focus was not just promotion - it was participation. Every piece of content was designed to strengthen community identity and reinforce the culture behind Deadbeats.
